I met photographer Jessie from Paper & Primrose working on a mutual friend's wedding last year, and we soon got talking about working together.
We pulled in our favorite local wedding suppliers to create this shoot - lavish and laid back, we hope it inspires you.
We collected brightly coloured crockery, glassware and bone handled cutlery; a mish-mash of stuff, which we felt created a home spun but special look. Claire's beautiful calligraphy from Calligraphy for Weddings helped add the finishing touches.
The flowers I chose were: lilac bubble roses, David Austin Juliette roses, peonies, hazel, black ball cornflowers, digitalis, variegated pittosporum, blueberries and foliage from the garden. I always try to support British flowers, so most of what I used came from Sussex Flower Farm, the rest from New Covent Garden Flower Market.
One of the best things about working on a shoot is meeting new people. Ellie from Bunston Bakes worked her socks of baking three amazing cakes for us to flower and photograhph.
Massive thank you to all the contributors, who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
