The Good Florist is a floral design studio working across the UK and beyond. Known for unconventional, conceptual work and nuanced colour pallets, we create designs that feel immersive, atmospheric and deeply connected to place.
Each project is distinct - bold or restrained, romantic or sculptural, yet always grounded in seasonality and quiet confidence.
We work in close collaboration with couples, planners and brands to create one of a kind celebrations. Influenced by landscape, architecture and cultural heritage, our designs respond to their surroundings - never imposed, always belonging.

The Good Florist was established in 2012 by Roberta Emmott. With a background in anthropology and garden design, her work is shaped by seasonality and a deep connection to people and place. Roberta leads each project personally, guiding every concept from its earliest idea through to final installation. Her approach is intuitive, collaborative, and always in dialogue with you.
For her, flowers are not decoration—they are a point of connection, and a memory held in form. She lives in Devon with her family and travels worldwide with her team.

Our work begins with respect — for the land, for the growers, for the seasons that make each stem possible. We design without floral foam. Without single-use plastics. Without waste as an afterthought. Mechanics are reused. Vessels are repurposed. Flowers are sourced as locally and seasonally as possible, chosen for their vitality and integrity. We value long-standing relationships with growers and suppliers who share our belief in working thoughtfully and responsibly. Sustainability is not a statement we add to our work it is woven quietly into every decision we make.
