This project explores colour, material, and restraint through a series of quiet still-life compositions. Using yellow carnations as a single floral voice, the study focuses on form, weight, and surface rather than decoration. Raw silk is introduced as a parallel material — draped, folded, and gathered — allowing fabric and flower to respond to one another through light and gravity. Set within a classical interior, the arrangements sit between object and gesture, held in a moment of deliberate pause.
